Taipei & Tarako Gorge

Get ready to fit some of the city’s most exciting and interesting sights. Get  a  good  cultural  and  historical overview during the City Tour, visiting its  temples,  museums  and  heritage  sights. Enjoy a one day getaway by train from the bustling city, to the Taroko Gorge. Get a chance to see its  caves,  beautiful  beach,  natural spring and the Sculptural Park. 

Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrive Taipei                     

On arrival at Taoyuan Airport, after completing Immigration and Customs formalities, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.                                    

Day 02 -  Taipei  (B)

Today enjoy a tour of Taipei city. First visit the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, then continue to National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese imperial arts and jade collections are exhibited.

Later you will visit Lungshan Temple. The temple was built in Taipei in 1738 by settlers from Fujian during Qing rule in honor of Guanyin. It served as a place of worship and a gathering place for the Chinese settlers. Further continue to the Ximending Shopping area, Dadaocheng, Dihua Old Street and Taipei 101 shopping mall.

Day 03 - Taipei – Taroko Gorge – Taipei (B)

Today early in the morning and transferred to Taipei Railway Station to take express train to Hualien. Arriving at Hualien, meet our guide at the exit and proceed to visit Taroko Gorge Gateway, Shakadang Trail, Swallow Grotto, Marble Bridge, Tianxiang, Eternal Spring Shrine, Marble Factory, Qixing Lake, Hualien Stone Sculptural Park. Take afternoon express train to be back to Taipei.

You will be picked up from Taipei Railway Station and transferred to hotel.

Day 04 - Taipei  (B)

Today at an appointed time, you will be collected from your Hotel and transferred to Taoyuan Airport for your onward flight
