About Shavourn Jones
Twilight Travel & Tours is owned and operated by Shavourn Jones, a travel specialist with over 20 years experience in the industry. She guarantees a personal service and escorts many of the coach tours herself. Shavourn, as a member of the Travel Managers Group, is a fully bonded and accredited agent with IATA (International Air Transport Association).
Shavourn started working in the travel industry in 1993 after completing an Advanced Certificate in Travel & Tourism.
Following 3 years as an Inbound Groups Consultant at the Japan Travel Bureau (JTB), Shavourn moved to Thomas Cook and took up the role of Product Manager for the NZ Inbound Division. Here she developed her product knowledge of New Zealand forming relationships with many aspects of the New Zealand Tourism Industry. With the sale and merger of Thomas Cook Shavourn moved to Gullivers and managed the Golden Holidays programme.
Shavourn’s grounding in organising group travel, product knowledge and understanding the needs of the mature traveller lead her to forming Twilight Travel & Tours.
