I’ve partnered with Josh Nicolson to launch a new opportunity for Kiwi travellers in the “Sustainable Travel Co.” People want to travel from New Zealand for a variety of reasons, but more and more people are concerned that their travel will have a negative effect on the places they go to, and on the wider environment. The "Sustainable Travel Co." is designed to give everyone the opportunity to reduce their impact on the planet, for example by providing an optional amount to pay to offset your carbon footprint on every flight quote that we provide, contributing a portion of your booking to charities that protect forests (the lungs of the Earth), as well as partnering with walking and cycling holiday suppliers, amongst others, to promote "slow travel"

Favourite destination & why
I’m incredibly happy on a beach in Caye Caulker Belize, in a country pub in England, or sitting on a tiny plastic chair having some street food in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Where have you been?
I've been to 52 countries, including having a year in Thailand, 18 months in the USA and 30 years in Europe.
What qualifications do you have?
Honours Degree in Geography and a Post Grad in Education.
