I bring to you over 50 years of experience in the airline and travel industry working in various roles - the latter years specialising in all aspects of international travel, including group travel.
My experience varies from organising Classical Studies Tours, Opera tours etc, including many school groups to mainly European destinations; whatever your needs are, I can help.
The industry as I see it has evolved from a very labour-intensive roll to an automated user-friendly model, allowing you the traveller the tools to assist with your decision on what Airline, Cruise Company, Hotels and Tour Operators you wish to embark on.
So where does the Travel Broker roll fit in? It is the experience we have picked up over the years dealing with many Key Tour Operators, Cruise Lines and Airlines who are still operating and continue to be successful in their own right. Because of this I have developed direct links with tour operators in a number of countries such as Greece, Italy, France, UK, Turkey, Russia, Scandinavia, Asia and South America to name a few. This means obtaining direct deals along with local knowledge that can be passed back to you the traveller.
One of my greatest passions is cruising; what a wonderful and relaxing way to see so many interesting places around the world! Back in 1972 I started that journey working for Cunard in Bristol.
I have personally cruised in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Alaska, Asia including the coast of New Zealand and Australia with Cunard, Princess Cruises, P&O and Holland America. In addition, I have been fortunate enough to experience the many other amazing cruise ships that have visited Wellington. My first-hand knowledge will benefit you as I can assist with all your requirements whether on small or large ships. Sail the coast of Norway, cruise to the Artic, Antarctica, a leisurely European river cruise or South East Asia, there is a cruise for you.
It is not only cruising, I just love exploring new cities and towns independently getting a feel of how the locals live and travel. The past 3 years in particular I have visited places such as Singapore, Amsterdam, Bristol, Chichester, Paris, Lyon, Florence, Sorrento, Sicily, Athens, Kalambaka, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver. I have just recently travelled to Berlin, Cologne, Brussels, and South West England. All with obtaining first-hand knowledge to assist in helping you make that commitment to travel.
